  • Delegation Superpowers for 2026: A Foundational Secret to Business Growth

“I need to delegate more,” said every single entrepreneur on the planet who’s stuck in the weeds of the day-to-day operations and wants to get out.

Yes, you need to delegate more. In fact, you need to delegate almost everything, every little task, except what only you can do in your business.

But from what I can see, you don’t know how, or were never really taught the specifics of this.

Are you a therapist, practitioner, or other service provider? Then, aside from you delivering your therapy, every other task required for the smooth running of your business should be delegated.

I don’t use “should” lightly here, either. It’s one of the few times I should on people.

If you want to grow your business beyond you and build a bigger empire, you’ll have to fully embrace the systems that will get you there.

If you want to begin delegating to an assistant, a virtual assistant, an employee, or a contractor, then you’ll need a full library of systems, each with a list of step-by-step instructions (Standard Operating Procedures or SOPs).

I remember hiring my first virtual assistant. OMG, what a disaster.

“I’m not sure I can continue with our arrangement right now. I don’t have the budget for it.”

I fired her, even though she was perfectly capable and doing what I told her to do. The truth was, I had no clue how to properly delegate the tasks I wanted done. I came back a few weeks later:

“Um, never mind, would you consider continuing our arrangement?”

She took me back, thank goodness. I’m sure virtual assistants and VA companies are used to new entrepreneurs who have no clue about how to do this. In fact, you VAs out there should send this blog out to prospective clients – use it for content. Educate your awesome business owner clients on just how to do this successfully!

Here are three steps to delegation superpowers (and business growth):

  1. Make a master task list for your business, including every program you offer, every process and system you use in that program, and then every task under those processes and systems. Yes, it’s a big list. It’s the start of your foundation of delegation superpowers!
  2. Write out in detail every standard operating procedure, including the goal of the SOP, who’s responsible for the task, and step-by-step instructions for completing the task. This is what your new assistant will use to do things for you.
  3. Create an easy-to-use indexed library of these SOPs for your business.

Three easy steps will completely change your delegation game. I highly recommend you begin with client acquisition and onboarding systems, the one thing that brings in the clients and income for your business. Even having this one system documented could be a game-changing exercise for you!

Systems are a secret passion of mine. My son, Jonathan is the founder of Systems Success Pro, and I’m helping my community understand the power of systems with his help. His free guide will take you much further than this blog. Grab that HERE.

And then hit reply if you’d like to know what to do next. After I had a mapping session with Jonathan, I was able to implement an onboarding process that brought in 5 new high-ticket clients. If you want a discovery session or to hire Jonathan to get your systems in order, go HERE

Your business-building success is within reach. Wherever you’re stuck right now, there’s a way out, and it’s going to be powerful.

None of the business coaches I hired ever focused on the foundation of systems for delegation. That was a mistake because it’s FOUNDATIONAL to your success. It will also prevent burnout. This one thing is the answer to business growth, but also to empire building and generational wealth.

Yep, it’s that good. And I’m going to make sure my community knows the secrets. You’re out there doing world-changing work. Let’s get you systemized and helping more people with your amazing offers.

PS. Here’s a side story for you if you get that this is important, but haven’t had the time or energy to focus on it. As soon as my systems were in place, I began to see the time freedom on my calendar. I realized I could take a day off. I was able to help my daughter move into her new apartment and not worry about missing work. I could schedule a vacation. I could do my life, and the income-producing systems were in place, so that was working for me, no matter if I was “at work” or not.

You guys, this is the ultimate freedom we all signed up for. This taste of that freedom made me want to take my systems further and see what was possible. Now we’re looking at running three publishing imprints, and publishing more than two dozen books next year! All with normal amounts of great sleep and lots of self-care time.

This is worth taking a look at. Love you guys.

PSS. If you’re a fellow publisher, get on this immediately. Systems for a publishing house are CRUCIAL to your success.
